Explore - Culture

Dictionary explanation

Explore is to investigate and obtain information about an unknown county or area as a researcher, explorer or tourist.

Our interpretation of the word into the Ex3 Flow Nucleus

Explore is part of the three-fold Ex3 core: Explore, Extend, Exceed. This week's concept therefore calls for putting on the cultural glasses and exploring the culture that you are a part of. It is fitting to explore the culture in your team or organisation. But it can also be interesting to observe other cultures that you participate in. We can be a part of a competitive culture, a trust-based culture or cultures where humour or positivity breathes - or, in a ballpark of its own - a fault-finding culture.

When we explore, it calls for establishing an open, curious and investigate approach. It is about being open to new perspectives and finding the courage to expand awareness of what lifts us up and drags us down. This applies for us as individuals and in a greater context surrounding the shared culture that we create together.

We are all born with an open and curious mindset. It is this mindset that I invite you to active in relation to yourself, your relationships and the cultures, that you are part of.

So this week's encouragement is: look aroundwhere you are right now. What do you see if you put on the exploratory cultural glasses?
